AIIMS Rishikeshg and Swami Sivanand Dharmarth Chikitsalay, Uttarkashi agreed to establish a program for tele-consultation collaboration in areas of ,Specialist consultant and signed a Memorandum of Understanding to foster collaboration, provide opportunity for patient care through tele-consultation and to facilitate advancement of knowledge and frequent interaction, and engaging in following modes of collaboration:

• To establish a close linkage and functional coordination between AIIMS Rishikesh and Swami Sivanand Dharmarth Chikitsalay, Uttarkashi for mutual co-operation towards Specialist tele-consultation services of AIIMS Rishikesh

• Exchange of information on patient care.

• Joint organization of short-term continuing education/ Training programs on topics of mutual interest for the volunteers of Swami Sivanand Dharmarth Chikitsalay, Uttarkashi.

This has benefited the local residents to avail world-class healthcare consultation without undertaking a long distance difficult travel and during COVID-19 Pandemic this turned out to be a boon to the villagers, and the staff working in Chikitsalay could enhance and upgrade their knowledge & skill thru various online Training programes of Skill development.
