Uttarkashi Disaster Relief 2025

Appeal for Urgent Support

On August 5, 2025, the peaceful Himalayan village of Dharali in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, was devastated by a sudden flash flood and mudslide—believed to be triggered by a high-altitude glacier collapse or cloudburst.

In mere moments, powerful torrents swept away homes, shops, bridges, and lives. Many families remain missing, and the region's vital infrastructure—roads, communication lines, and bridges—has been reduced to debris..
